Slice Master
Slice Master is a casual arcade game where you flip a spinning knife through everything in your path. One button, that is the whole control scheme, and you play it free in your browser.
The goal is to slice fruit, shapes, walls, and furniture without smacking into the things that can stop you. Time your flips well and you carve through a level cleanly. Mistime them and your blade bounces off something it should not have touched.
What is Slice Master?
Slice Master is a one-button slicing game built around timing and a bit of physics. Your knife flips forward through a side-scrolling level packed with objects. Each tap sends it spinning, and a clean hit cuts whatever it lands on. You collect coins as you go and spend them on new blades. The loop is short and easy to pick up, which is part of the appeal.
How to play
There is one input, so the skill is all in when you press it.

What to slice and what to avoid
Most objects in a level are fair game: fruit, geometric shapes, walls, furniture, and more. Two things are different. The white pillar cannot be cut. You can stick your knife into it and use it to keep from dropping to the ground, so treat it as a perch rather than a target. The pink spiked metal shapes are the real danger. Your knife is not strong enough to cut them, and hitting one sends you back to the start of the round. They sometimes sit buried under a pile of cuttable objects, so lift the knife away in time.
Scoring and the end-of-level target
Slicing fills your score during the level, but the big swing happens at the end. Each level finishes with numbered targets, and the number you hit multiplies your points. A x4 target quadruples your run, so aiming for the higher value usually beats playing it safe. Coins you pick up along the way feed the shop.
You can only move forward. There is no going back to grab something you missed, so commit to the line you take.
Blades and the shop
Coins go toward new gear. You can unlock sharper knives, swords, maces, and other blades, nine knives in total. Heavier or sharper weapons let you cut through more in a single flip, so saving up changes how a run feels. There are also skins to collect if you want your blade to look the part.
Tips for a higher score
- Go for the highest end-of-level multiplier you can reach instead of the safe low number
- Lift the knife early when you see pink spiked metal under a stack, since one touch resets the round
- Use the white pillar as a landing spot to reset your timing before a tricky stretch
- Spend coins on a stronger blade so you clear more objects per flip
- Watch the rhythm of the flips rather than mashing the button, since the knife arcs and needs a beat to come back around
What makes it work
The slicing has a tactile, ASMR quality to it. The sound on each cut is satisfying enough that the game feels good even on an easy level. Because everything runs off one button, it is the kind of game anyone in a room can pick up and try, and the end-of-level math choice gives you a small decision to sweat over every time.
