Paperly: Paper Plane Adventure

Paperly: Paper Plane Adventure is a free browser game about flying a folded paper plane across a series of 3D worlds and reaching the finish before time runs out. You steer, you pick up speed by diving, and you try not to clip the obstacles in your way.

It is a physics game first and a racer second. Gravity does most of the work, so the real skill is knowing when to point the nose down for momentum and when to ease it back up.

What is Paperly?

Paperly is a 3D flight game where you guide a paper plane from start to finish across themed levels. Each run is a balance between speed and control. You collect Quantum and extra time as you fly, weave around anything that blocks the path, and use wind boosts to cover ground faster. There are 11 different worlds to get through, including dry deserts, tropical forests, and the ice caves of the Arctic.

How to play

Launch the plane, keep it pointed toward the finish, and manage your momentum the whole way.

Desktop controls

  • WASD or the arrow keys to steer the plane
  • Shift to boost

Mobile controls

On phones and tablets you fly with the on-screen joystick and buttons. You can switch between control styles in the settings if the default does not suit you.

Using gravity

Gravity is the engine here, not an enemy. Dive down and the plane picks up momentum that carries it forward and farther. Climb and that same momentum bleeds off, so you slow down. A good line is mostly a series of shallow dives that trade a little height for speed, with short climbs only when you need to clear something ahead.

Worlds and unlocks

The game spreads across 11 worlds with different settings, from desert to rainforest to Arctic ice. As you progress you unlock new gear to fly with.

Planes and skins

There are 11 paper planes to unlock and 7 skins on top of that. The planes handle the journey across the worlds, and the skins change how yours looks.

Tips for finishing faster

  • Dive to build speed before a long straight, then flatten out so you do not waste the momentum
  • Grab the extra-time pickups whenever they are close to the line you are already flying; running out of time ends the run
  • Treat Quantum as worth a small detour, but not worth crashing for
  • Line up wind boosts and hit them at speed instead of drifting into them slow
  • Read the obstacles a beat early so you can adjust your height before you reach them, not at the last second

What makes it tricky

The tension comes from the trade you make on every dive. Going fast feels great until the path bends and you are carrying too much speed to react. Add the clock and the obstacles, and a clean run depends on planning your altitude rather than just chasing the throttle.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do you play Paperly: Paper Plane Adventure?
Steer the paper plane with WASD or the arrow keys and hold Shift to boost. Dive to gain speed, avoid obstacles, collect extra time, and reach the finish before the clock runs out.
Is Paperly free to play?
Yes. It runs free in your browser with no download or install needed.
Can I play Paperly on mobile?
Yes. It works on phones and tablets, where you fly using an on-screen joystick and buttons. You can change the control layout in the settings.
How many worlds and planes are there?
There are 11 worlds to fly through, plus 11 paper planes and 7 skins to unlock as you go.
Why does my plane keep slowing down?
Climbing drains your momentum, while diving builds it. If you are losing speed, you are probably flying too level or too high. Point the nose down to pick the speed back up.
What is Quantum for?
Quantum is a pickup you collect while flying. Grab it when it sits near your line, but do not crash chasing one that is out of the way.
Is there a mobile app for Paperly: Paper Plane Adventure?
